The bolt face is modular so that it can be changed in about 30 seconds to any bolt face size ranging from .223 Remington (5.56 NATO) to ARC to Standard to Magnum and even to Lapua. 5 bolt face sizes are available. The modular bolt is intended for re-barreling a Remington M700 action and is NOT COMPATIBLE with a factory Remington Barrel. This is because the bolt requires a flat barrel face without a Remington counterbore.
