Description
The ADG BL700 ACTION is a premium bolt action receiver set with a compliment of features that allows the customer to put together exactly what they would like – each one build for a purpose. The BL700 ACTION has a Remington M700 footprint, the most common footprint found in bolt action rifles today. To start out, the BL700 ACTION is manufactured from Premium 17-4PH Stainless Steel, heat treated and finished with a proprietary nitride coating. The strength of the action exceeds the military specifications for blocked bore and high pressure testing. The bolt lug raceways are EDM machined and the final machining is completed in the hardened condition to eliminate any distortion during machining and finishing. The tolerances are held such that the bolt will slide freely with minimal effort (no binding), unlike many other custom actions. Integral recoil lug, integral Picatinny rail, oversized loading/ejection port, fluted firing pin, and a modular bolt design for maximum caliber flexibility in your build and use.
With each purchase, the user is able to select the following options:
- Long or Short Action
- Split or Full Rail
- 0 MOA or 20 MOA Rail Inclination
- Feed Lip Geometry (Solid Bottom, No Feed Lips, Magnum Feed Lips, Custom Geometry)
- Bolt Face Diameter (Small, ARC, Standard, Magnum, Lapua)
- Bolt Stop (Low-Profile or Extended)
The BL700 ACTION uses M700 style fire controls available from a variety of manufacturers including Timney, TriggerTech, Jewel and many others. The action comes with stainless steel pins for mounting the fire-control module. Additional bolt heads can be purchased with the receiver to create the ultimate in flexibility of the rifle platform. The headspace dimensions (distance from the front of the receiver to the front of the bolt lugs) is held to +/- 0.001″. This is done so that pre-fit barrels can be made available from any barrel manufacturer.
