28 NOSLER BRASS – ADG manufactured brass is optimized not only for consistency in performance, but also for durability. One of the ways we accomplished this is by optimizing the material in specific areas to strengthen it. With the optimized material geometry, our brass will generally have a different case volume than most other manufacturer’s brass and therefore will require a different charge weight to achieve the same pressures and velocities. We recommend using a reputable load data source and working up from their recommended minimum starting loads.
For the best performance and life from your ADG brass, we recommend using our optimized chamber design in conjunction with specifically designed ADG Fat-Boy Series full-length resizing dies. For those who want next-level performance, we would also recommend annealing between loadings. Annealing is not required to get ADG brass to perform better than our competitors, but if you are planning on setting world records, becoming a world champion, or stretching the legs on a hunt, absolute consistency is achieved when annealing the case mouth between firings using our ARC Ultimate Annealer! ADG chamber reamers can be purchased at JGS Precision. The ADG chamber meets SAAMI dimensional criteria and uses a SAAMI minimum freebore length. You or your gunsmith can purchase the reamer directly from JGS Precision using the following part number.

We recommend reducing any existing charge weights by 10% and re-developing your specific load when replacing any component in a load recipe with a new component (brass, projectile, primer, or powder type). Failure to reduce charge weights established using other manufacturers brass may result in higher pressures and velocities while using ADG brass and may result in unsafe pressure levels.
At ADG, we distribute our products direct to dealer. This means that we do not give additional discounts to wholesalers or distributers and our distribution network is a completely home-grown group of both large and small “dealers” that are made up of store-fronts, internet sales, and custom rifle builders. We ship the majority of our product to our dealers to support their business needs and place small amounts of remaining product on our website when it is available after a month or so of like caliber shipments to our dealers from the production floor. When you are signed up on the waitlist, you will receive an email notification when the product is available for purchase on our website. THANK YOU for your business!
If you would like your local dealer to join our dealer network, please let them know to contact us at sales@atlasdg.com

I just received my first box of 50 ADG Brass. My brass was 28 Nosler and was Standard/annealed. I was first impressed by the way it was shipped. Shipped in a ammo box with a foam insert to prevent the brass from raddling around all within a cardboard box. I was also impressed with how shinney it was being I didn’t order the shiney version. It appeard to be annealed as well. I had told a friend it had arrived and he asked me how consisten weight wise it was, so I set about weighing all 50 pieces.
It turns out it was very consistent. The heaviest was 258.4 gn and the lightest was 256.9 gn. That is only 1.5 grains! Throwing out the heaviest and the lightest and the difference is only 1.2 gn! Though I’m not for sure going to throw any out as it is. I checked the concentricity of a few rounds and the worst I found after neck sizing was only .002 and that would probably be corrected by tuning the necks. I am really impressed and proud of an American company that with my first impression anyway seems to bettering the best of any foreign brass I have used! Atalas and Elizabethtown Kentucky workers, Please Please keep up the excellent work!!
